401 (k) Retirement Savings Plan
Excel has established a 401(k) savings plan to provide employees the potential for future financial security for retirement. Excel matches 100% on the first 4% and 50% of the next 2% to each employee’s 401(k) contribution.
Medical/Dental Insurance
Regular full-time employees may participate in the health and dental insurance plan subject to all terms and conditions of the agreement between Excel and the insurance carrier.
Holidays
All full-time employees are eligible for holiday pay after 30 days. Excel recognizes ten holidays.
Vacation Benefits
Vacation time off with pay is available to regular full-time employees to provide opportunities for rest, relaxation, and personal pursuits.
Service Bonus Time
Full-time hourly employees are eligible to receive service bonus time according to the number of years of service.
Safety Bonus Day
Regular full-time factory employees who do not incur any lost-time accidents during the period of January 1 through December 31 earn a Safety Bonus Day that gives them an extra full day of personal time for the following year.
Uniform Provision
Excel pays 50% of uniform costs for all eligible full-time employees who have completed 30 days of service.
Safety Equipment Benefits
Excel reimburses half the cost of safety shoes purchased for use at Excel.
Excel reimburses one-half the cost of prescription safety glasses up to $125 once every 3 years.
Non-prescription safety glasses are provided to employees who do not require prescription lenses.
Life & AD&D Coverage
Excel provides life and AD&D coverage to all employees at no cost. Additional term insurance and AD&D is available to the employee and their dependents.
Regular Shifts
1st shift – 7am-3pm
2nd shift – 3pm-11pm
3rd shift – 11pm-7am
Shifts may vary due to machine workload and need. No time schedule is guaranteed.
