MINExpo 2012 – A Great Success!

Excel was pleased to participate in MINExpo 2012, held in Las Vegas on September 24 to 26, and had a very successful three-day run!

MINExpo is one of the largest shows in the global mining industry, featuring all the big players. This year, Excel had the chance to step up and create a meaningful presence as one of these players. With the show occurring only once every four years, Excel used the opportunity to really ‘wow” our visitors with this year’s participation. Excel’s booth was 2,000 square feet and featured a 20’ tower with four 80-inch TV monitors showing a video spotlighting our people, processes and product line. The booth highlighted components from cone & gyratory crushers, plus hydraulic excavators and electric rope shovels, including a full-scale Hitachi® EX2500 undercarriage. We displayed over 130,000 pounds of components in all! It was widely agreed to be Excel’s most successful effort in trade show marketing to date. The number of visitors to our booth was excellent and the quality of the visitors from all over the globe was beyond expectations. Excel focused on showing the ‘people behind the parts” and was received as being a very welcoming and professional booth.

Excel’s next show appearance will be at the Aggregates Academy & Expo (AGG1) in San Antonio March 19-21, 2013. See you there!
